Want to host a workshop or event? 

The DrawTogether Studio offers 1,000 square feet of versatile creative space for professional artists, teachers, and creative practitioners to host classes, events, and art-based get-togethers.

The Studio is stocked with basic art supplies and tea, and features a library filled with art books, a comfy living room space, and an outdoor sitting area. The Studio can comfortably fit groups of 8 to 12 people, depending on your medium and how much working space each person needs.

Want to host a workshop or creative event? We occasionally invite new artist-instructors to host in the space. Interested? Fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you. Note: you must have an existing platform set up to facilitate outreach, registration and payment for your students. We provide an awesome, secure, creative space, and leave the rest to you. This helps us keep our rental rates low, and artists can make workshops more accessible to all.

How does this work?

  1. You fill out and submit the form linked here. Please note: we can only accept established artist-teachers who have a platform set up to facilitate outreach, registration and payment.

  2. We will review your information and get back to you.  If you are a good fit for the studio, we will send you a form to fill out detailing your potential event/workshop. 

  3. We publish your event listing with a brief workshop description that links to your registration portal and payment link.

  4. We share your event in our Instagram account stories (@DrawTogether.Studio) to assist in light promotion. You are responsible for promoting and selling your workshops, and we can help get the word out.

  5. You sell out, host an amazing workshop, and everyone is THRILLED. And can’t wait to do it all again.

Booking FAQ

  • The studio is available to rent most Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am – 5 pm for $500/day, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 6 pm – 9 pm for $350/eve. 

  • We are open to hosting anything you can think of that falls within The DrawTogether Studio's mission (see tiny print at the bottom of the page!)  TL;DR: you gotta make something, and you gotta do it in person, with other people.

  • Because it’s important to us that the quality of the workshops is high, we only accept working creative professionals with teaching experience of some kind. Circus school is A-OKAY. While not necessary, it’s helpful to have an established audience, as event promotion is your responsibility.

  • We offer studio tours for potential hosts 2x a month. Please email events@drawtogetherstudio.com to schedule.

  • Workshops are BYOM (Bring your own materials.) And also, we have basic art supplies on hand for you to use if you’re in a pinch: scissors, tape, pens and paper and pencils, colored pencils, that kind of stuff.

  • Current studio rental rates are: $500 per day for weekends (9am - 6pm) and $350 per evening for weeknights (5pm - 9pm)

  • The DrawTogether Studio is priced way below market rate to make it affordable to everyone, helping keep prices down for participants, creating a virtuous circle of creative opportunity. If you are unable to afford the full fee, DrawTogether Studio offers a limited number of discounted rental opportunities. Let’s call it a “DTS Fellowship.” Please inquire.

  • Yes! The space is bright during the daytime, but we have ways of blocking enough light to project on the rear wall. Someday we may get a pull-down screen. That would be fun. 

  • Yes! There is a ramp in the front of the building on Lowell Street. While we have a small private bath inside the studio, ADA-compliant bathrooms are also available within the main building, located approximately 50 yards away.

  • It wouldn’t be a studio without one. :)
